Reward Challenge #4 - Let's get Down to Business

Hello Castaways…

Mulan paid me a visit tonight and needs more recruits to face the huns… she needs people who are swift as the coursing river, have all the force of a great typhoon, and have the strength of a raging fire… so to accomplish these three feats… we will all be doing a relay.

The first part of your relay will take place in your Diary Rooms. You must go into your Diary Room and create a new thread named “Relay Competition” Then you need to make 100 separate posts in that thread. You will be scored, to the second, from your first post until you complete your 100th post. So if you begin posting at 10:00:00 and finish at 10:04:57 it will have taken you 4:57 Minutes to complete, This part of the relay.

The next part of your relay will be a Puzzle.. Please screenshot it, completed with the time visible, and share it in your Diary Room… in the same thread as your 1-100 Posts. The amount of time took to complete your puzzle will be added to your final time.

The final part of your relay is you must find a Disney song (must be the official song/music video) and post it in the same thread. The catch is… the length of the Song/Video will be added to your final time. So for example if you choose “Let It Go” From Frozen, the official video is 4:02. So 4:02 will be added to your final time. You can pick ANY DISNEY song you want… HOWEVER, if someone posts a song in their thread before you… that song can no longer be used, and you will get a message from me in that thread to pick a different song.

You can do these in any order that is easiest for you… however they must all be completed by 8PM EDT tomorrow June 5th. Everyone is to do their own relay… to show Mulan their strength… However, this is a team challenge, So for every person who does NOT compete will add 30 seconds to all their other tribemates' final times. The person who gets the smallest amount of time will win the challenge for their entire tribe!

Once the Immunity Challenge is over for tonight (June 4th) I will Announce how many people may compete for each tribe. Remember whoever sat out for the Immunity Comp #3 MAY NOT SIT OUT IN A BACK TO BACK COMP!

IMPORTANT UPDATE

It has come to my attention that some players where hit with a flood control while playing this competition. I have it in my settings that flood control should be between 5-10 seconds, however some players where hit with 15 seconds.

Upon further research I have also found that a majority of times a person logging in on a phone is exempt from flood control and it mainly only effects the computer players.


THE VERDICT

Because of this new found knowledge… I will be stripping Heart of its reward of a point and a half for the immunity challenge. You will all go in as equal 1 = 1. I will also give everyone who competed the $3 that was also awarded to the heart tribe aka everyone will get $3.

I will work to turn off flood control, however I may not be able to which I will update you if I cannot

HOWEVER

From here on out… YOU CHOOSE YOUR MEDIUM TO PLAY ON. With a computer comes advantages that a phone user doesn’t have, same with tablet users. I will NOT BE OVERTURNING ANY MORE CHALLENGES.

Computer players have had higher scores in almost all the other competitions (because forums are technically meant for computers) ie: the puzzles took the computer an average of 2 minutes faster to complete than the phone users. Which means I could technically overturn the entire season based on the fact some users have chosen a “faster” method.

YOU CHOOSE WHAT YOU PLAY ON. (Computer,tablet,phone) You choose what advantages/disadvantages you could potentially be subjected to by using that method. Unless there is a SUPER unfair glitch in the forum (like the 15 second flood control some users where having!!!) The future results of the competitions will be final.
